My Work - Feb

The speciality of my work is providing clarity. The emotional work is to clarify what this feeling is here to tell you. We don’t judge nor try to fix. We listen. Why is sadness here? It’s easy to understand this with anger, we know when we are angry, something needs to change. Either we need to assert ourselves or remove ourselves from the situation. The one I deal with most is happiness.I love working with happy clients. Happiness is a powerful energy. Let’s get clear on what wants to be born through such joy.

My work is spiritual, without introducing God nor the higher power. Our spiritual space, I believe, is something never to be interfered with nor analysed. Emotions are spiritual. There’s nothing logical nor transactional about them. We get angry even though it’s just a game we’re watching. We get sad when a character dies even though we know it’s not an actual person that died.

That is the beauty of it.

A priest will tell you to abstain from sex and you find yourself failing. A guru will tell you to sit quietly for an hour and you find yourself struggling. A therapist will ask you to journal and you’ll just find other interesting things to do.

Leaving even more guilt than it is necessary.

The emotional detox helps remove blocks that make us feel like we are the problem in all this. Are we?

What is the promise?

I’ll give an example:

‘happiness is your birthright’ - that’s really me saying ‘you deserve a clean house’ .. that doesn’t mean you’ll never have dirt in your home, I’m giving you tools to hopefully not freak out when you see dishes in the sink.

A book I wrote and read like it was a bible. There’s something about watching somebody else’s life unfold, it gives us a fresh perspective. Thishiwe is a young woman figuring it out boldly as she goes. Will she leave her marriage and go after her ‘twin flame?’ She finds out life isn’t as simple.

My main aim is always ease. There’s plenty madness going on in the world and many of us aren’t interested in more homework. You’ll be surprised how little is involved here and yet the impact is visible to even those around you.
